Poetry became a expression of the amazing highs that you can feel in a MOMENT. I wanted to capture those moments.
I had a very close friend who one day gave me a box as a birthday present. Inside the box was empty and she observed a puzzled look on my face. I asked for the explanation and with a huge smile on her face she said “every time you have one of those moments where you are happy put that feeling in the box”. The book cover is from this memory and a special person who left me great moments and a place to store them.
